PARIS — As Parisians lined up to donate blood and concerned friends and family sought information about loved ones, many tourists — here to enjoy one of the loveliest cities in the world — were making abrupt plans to return home. Friday night's attacks focused on some of the city's popular entertainment, attractive to both locals and visitors. Few of the victims — 129 people were killed and 352 people are injured — have been identified, however a California student is among the casualties and more visitors could follow.
